Faculty Development Grants

Faculty Development Grants are to fund faculty for travel, conference attendance, and workshop facilitation on behalf of Seattle Colleges.

Faculty members of the Seattle College District are eligible to apply for the grants listed below once per academic year.

Grant activities must align with Faculty Development Goals to:

Increase subject matter knowledge and innovations in instruction
Improve instructional skills with all students, especially academically and culturally diverse students
Foster collaboration among colleagues throughout the district
Encourage lifelong learning

Important Reminders for a Successful Application

Faculty Development Grants applications are due by the month BEFORE the event begins

Due Dates for 2021-2022 (always on a Monday)

November 8, 2021

December 6, 2021

January 10, 2022

February 7, 2022

March 7, 2022

April 11, 2022

May 9, 2022

June 6, 2022 *

*Applications submitted by the June deadline are for activities between July 1 to September 30 and will be reviewed in June.

Applications submitted in July, August, and September will be reviewed in October, 2022
